Volunteers
Volunteers are an important and valuable asset to our school community.
They fulfil many important roles such as listening to students read or accompanying classes on excursions. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer there are a few regulations that DfE have put in place to keep schools safe.
We ask that all volunteers complete a volunteer application form, a volunteer agreement and complete Responding to Abuse & Neglect (RAN) online training. Please contact our Front Office staff to be sent these forms.
The new mandatory training, Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) will be released on 1 July 2021.
Once we receive the completed application forms and your RAN certificate we can begin the Working With Children Check (WWCC). As a volunteer, there is no charge for this check.
